Lost: One email address

Posted by Jeffrey Lee on 21:07, 20/4/2004 | ,

For at least several weeks, our news address, news@acornarcade.com, has been blackholed. What this means is that any email you've tried sending to us at that address has been lost.

Suffice to say I didn't know about this, or would have done something about it (Like not mention it in numerous articles when asking for contributions). I'm also pretty miffed that no-one else here at Acorn Arcade thought of mentioning that the address might be blackholed. As far as I was aware the address had been blackholed several months ago due to excess spam, but that it had later been restored to normal - nothing about it being blackholed again, or the blackholing not being lifted in the first place.

Anyway, enough of my ranting - it's been a bit of a botch up on our side, so can anyone who's tried contacting us through news@acornarcade.com recently please resend the mail?

Thanks to aardvark for pointing this problem out to me on IRC. We've also gained one copy of Wavelength from him, which I'll start looking at as soon as I get a chance.
