Karma is based on a three-dimensional, 64-bit model, the fundamentals of which are programmed in ARM assembly code. The angular increment of this model is 0.1 degree. Full newtonian gravity is supported at the highest accuracy affordable.

The Karma galaxy is approximately 8000 light years across. It contains approximately 2400 solar systems, each of which is about 45,000,000,000 km in radius, but all are modelled to an accuracy of 0.0035cm. There exists a mechanism allowing for almost continuous flight between any stars and during interstellar flight the full resolution of the model is applied to the vast distances involved. Sector Zero, as supplied with the flight trainer contains 335 solar systems, and around 8000 planets and moons.
Available for the first time online, at least as far as I'm aware, here is a PDF version of the manual as supplied with The Flight Trainer. Let us all once again sigh with nostalgia and lament the fact that a full version was never possible.
