Turns out that because my iPhone is the 3G model and not 3GS or 4, I can't get Game Center. Bummer. |

I feel your pain, Sion. Mine's an Iphone 3 as well. Still, I only use it as a phone, since erm, iTunes and its credit-card-details-stealing ways must die, DIE, DIIIEEE!
Cough, erm, yes, well. I think you get my meaning. |

Credit card detail stealing? Apple? Never Almost certainly not Apple themselves. I imagine Andrew is referring to something like the iTunes 'gifting' scam.
I no longer run iTunes anyway*, but even when I did, I never gave it my card details because whenever I bought music, I found it cheaper elsewhere - not forgetting the DRM that Apple had for a long time in music purchased through iTunes.
* I removed it partly because I was getting increasingly annoyed with how slow it was becoming under the strain of my MP3 collection. And partly - mainly, in fact - because of what I consider bad programming on Apple's part, with the final straw being when I installed an update to iTunes and found my network card disabled. |
