I got all nostalgic the other day about the brilliant games we used to have on our Archimedes. However I'm now slowly going mad because I can't remember what one was called. There was one with quite brilliant, dramatic music, and when you started a new level the character you were playing said "nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah". There was an underwater level. I seem to remember it was unstable loading. Any ideas?

Chuck Rock? A caveman who was trying to rescue his girlfriend. Think it started with him saying "Unga Bunga!" or something similar.

Hi. Thanks, but unfortunately it wasn't that. It was definitely "nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah" that he used to say!

Was the "nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah" followed by "bat-maaaaaaan" ? If so, that was a TV series rather than a game. smile

Oh, hang on - that has "nah" the wrong number of times. For the TV series, I think it would be nine.

I've been wondering what this game is ever since your first post, I've tested most games available for the Arc and it doesn't ring any bells.

Was it an educational title?

If you have any idea of when you played it and on what platform that might help tracking it down.

Ah...that would explain why it doesn't ring any bells, Gyrinus II was P.D. and is available on Acorn Arcade

Did anyone else ever try playing SoG after having played that other game he did with the Unicycle? It made all the sounds in SoG go weird if I remember rightly. You'd hear different stuff.
