Odd - I launched it a few days ago, but didn't make contact with anyone when I tried contact mode. Now it won't let me back into it, because I haven't launched a bottle! Maybe it's gone onto some random person over the interwebs.

Yeah, it does do that. I've never received a message inna bottle from anyone I've ever heard of. To be honest, judging by most of them I think they're made up by the same program that generates most of the spam I receive 
On the other hand, I do know of someone who once received a bottle they'd sent themselves. o_O |
