Due to the graphics artist doing many more tiles than the game originally had we have to add them into the game which shouldn't take long. Nice desert scenery though, well chuffed with it. |

When is it finished No release date set, depends on how many graphics our graphics artist is going to do and if anyone creates any levels (I've tried and failed). Also depends on if we can get a 30Meg movie ported over and some MP3 music to use. |

Relax, it's Christmas, the time for eating, getting drunk and doing no work! I'll send a terrorist round in a santa costume if you persist with this idea of 'work'. |

m000000000 evily priced network cards Ah well, i got a free PC net. Card, so I just need to buy one for the RiscPC, then I shuold be able to set up a network Question: for a dedicated network & internet/proxy server would it be best to use Windows or Linux?? (or better to phrase it as "would Linux offer any more things, considering it would probably be harder to set up) If you could please tell me that im wasting my time downloading Corel Linux because I think that the file has just become corrupt, and I was over 85% done which had taken be about 25hours so im a little irritated Does anyone know an PC/Linux magazines that are giving away a Linux version on cover disk that allows it to be installed into a DOS partition (so that i do not havve to do any reformatting or lose and HD space) thanks Mark |

Hmm, I don't know about Corel Linux, but I certainly saw several copies of SuSE Linux in my local Waterstones. I prefer RedHat personally :-) By proxy server, it depends what you want it to do. We use an NT server box with WinGate as an HTTP, FTP and SOCKS proxy at work. It works quite well (our Linux server also uses it as a proxy). WinGate can be an a**e to setup, especially if you're running a DNS server on the same machine, but it's still easier than setting up a Linux machine to do the same job if you're not quite sure what you're doing. Believe me, Windows Help files are a lot better (in most cases) than those d**m HOWTO docs.... |
