I posted a request for help with scriptwriting to the forum before, and a couple of people mailed me to say they were interested, but at the time, it wasn't much more than a fledgling idea. Things have moved on now though...like Andrew, I'd love to hear from people with suggestions, ideas etc for things they'd like to see in the game. The preliminary website is at: http://members.aol.com/ramuhuk Apologies if it doesn't work properly on Acorn browsers! (I think it does though). I definitely could do with some help with plot writing, graphics (as always, there's a lot to do!) and music - I have all the musical talent of a squashed hedgehog... Unfortunately, I've lost the email addresses of the people who mailed me before, please get in touch again - if I didn't answer then, I will this time! |

On a technical side, and out of sheer coincidence, it does appear to have some similarities with Overcast (Andrew and I seem to be working on similar code), but the two games should play very differently. |

Yes, this is a funny coincidence and the fact that they are top-down walk and explore games! |

Shane: Does your project want to be VOTI involved? Then Andrew and Owain could give you some bits of code to help you. |

Any help would be greatly appreciated Nathan, if you've got the time to spare, I know everyone is busy on things at the moment. Andrew and I have already been exchanging some code tips |
