Mostly Quake and HoMM2, although I'll probably be on my new XBox 360 most of the time. |

All sixteen floppies of Dune II... I also have Dune 2000 for the PC, which is a C&C-style interface updated version of Dune II, and more playable (seeing as how you can select multiple units and such). Ah, but there were some damn good (non-ported) games on RISC OS in its day though -> Haunted House/Time Machine especially. We need an "I (heart) 4D" smiley. |

Trying to complete Mad Prof Mariarti in less than 10 minutes. There's lots of shortcuts you can pull off to complete levels extra quick, I'm starting to find. |

The tracker file in MPM is hilarious. As I recall, there's lots of swearing and general rudeness against hackers if you load it into an editor... |

Actually, could someone upload the tracker for me? I'd love to hear it again...
And yeah, MPM is a great game. Such a lovely *feel* to it. One of my favourite RISC OS games ever.
Anyone remember Tanks on an old Acorn User cover disc? That was *fantastic*. We used to play it after school in the puter room all the time, and have proper elimination games. Ah, those were the days... |

AFAICR You can get Dune II for RISC OS from Jason Tribbeck's website now...
I'm sure I've got Dune 2000 for the PC somewhere, too.. Can't remember the last time I played it, thoguh...
Ah, but there were some damn good (non-ported) games on RISC OS in its day though -> Haunted House/Time Machine especially. We need an "I (heart) 4D" smiley. Yes! Oh the countless hours I spent in the bloody basement ot the Haunted House! And the desert in the Time Machine... I never completed the latter.. I was always a coin short for the slot machine thing in the desert. The Haunted House I did complete with the help of a few pointers from the solution in Archimedes World... I'd have another play at them now I've forgotten how to do them and lost the solution magazine articles, but I think I've also forgotten the whereabouts of the floppies for them...

All sixteen floppies of Dune II... It was 8 DD floppies; 4 HD floppies. Or 1 hard drive. |

I have the original hints sheets sent out by 4D (yes, I wrote in and asked). I could scan them if you like, and maybe also OCR them to Word files or similar if I can be bothered |

Saying that, pretty much all of the old Acorn games don't even have PC equivalents, and the PC games are rather homogenous and don't have as much playability. Even if their fancy 3D vector graphics are much better; that's about all they've got going for them. Half-Life 2 was fun though, but I do miss those old games (Car Wars, anyone?). |

Probably the most fun I've ever had on a two player game in my life.
In fact, if anyone has it to hand, could they upload it? |
