Any more news on ACED? I was wondering when this day would come... Because it was announced too soon on Drobe, I need to compose some new music (otherwise its heritage can be ascertained). Unfortunately, I was sent on a company trip to the US, which meant I wasn't able to do any work on it until I got back. If necessary, I can release a version without sound - that's playing now. |

I didn't mean to hassle you, sorry. I'm just looking forward to playing it. Will you use FahZhi Tracker for the music? |

Yes - it's the most up to date player I've written, and I know it's both 26-bit and 32-bit compatible. However, I first of all need to compose it on my main synth setup (FahZhi isn't the world's easiest program to compose music on, and I don't have that many samples in its native format at high quality sample rates - with Equinox, I just sampled the instruments I was using). |

Long periods of time, or short? While playing, or in the menu structure? |

It only happened once or twice but they happened after around a hour or longer of playing. It happened in the middle of a game. Thanks |

Hmm - that may be a little difficult to track down, but I'll have a go when I'm nearer doing some more work on it. |

The Games Scene is in desperate need of new commercial games, are there any new games coming soon? Im glad I'm not the only one who has concerns about this. I was thinking recently, that with all these new machines and 32 bit OS's floating around, there should now be more power for the games developers to play with. Therefore, without offending those who are currently doing just that, technically speaking we should be seeing some more commercial titles. |

We should be technically yes! The Iyonix did get Battle of Wesnoth from the Unix Porting Project but that's currently inactive to my knowledge. |

There are plans to port Baldur's Gate but the project is at it's early stages at the moment.

You know I really liked how UPP really /did/ things instead of just planned to do them. They produced the goods. |

If everyone has the same attitued as you then nothing would get done and there would be no releases at all in the RISC OS market. |
