So, it's Second Life meets Animal Crossing meets Mii Channel. It looks pretty, but bland, and says "micropayments" more than "fun". Everyone has the same height, weight, and age, and they stand like they've got a stick up their arse.

I'm yet to be convinced by online gaming and "communities" - and this looks just as grim - but the MySpace crowd will probably love it. How long before it's overrun by tedious fat blokes and sweary kids?

You are, of course, working under the assumption that people will buy the PS3

Looks pretty good to me, in all honesty, although it all depends on the kind of people who use it.

I just wish Mii's were more customisable than they are...

I dunno, I saw a fat kid in one of the scenes.

Stick-up-their-arse comment is true, but the Mii channel looks equally weird. I always feel like the characters are not standing up straight, as if their knees are always bent (not that you can alter the lower-half of the body anyway).

But that's exactly my posture!
