that isn't Vim or XCode, mainly to be used for editing Objective C, PHP, HTML and CSS. I'm switching/referring between a lot of different files so a tabbed view (or something similar) would be nice.

I'm currently trying out a demo of BBEdit which is quite nice but rather expensive - $125 shock

Anyone want to port StrongED? wink

I've heard very good things about BBEdit, and having used a demo version for a bit, will probably shell out when I get my Macbook Pro.

Textwrangler, which I use currently, is fine... but not the best thing ever.

I used Smultron for a while. It was quite good.

For HTML/CSS/PHP I use and highly recommend Coda.

Andy.

If you like BBEdit, get TextWrangler, it's almost the same, and free.

TextMate seems to be the one all the trendy Mac bloggers use.

Actually, I've just found out I was using an old version of TextWrangler. I've just upgraded, and it seems a lot nicer. So yeah, give that a try.
