Is anyone using Acorn's "ARM stand alone Macro Assembler Version 1.46" on RiscOS 3.7 or above?

Every time I try to use it it fails with message "M2ExHandle abort - Bad Entry Sequence". However I have just installed it on PC running Archie v0.9 and RiscOS 3.11 where it works just fine.
