I don't think there's any need for it. The comms forum is for discussion of all Internet and networking issues, and many of the threads in there relate to Web technologies. The forum is hardly overused, so there's no reason to split it up further. |

Comms tends to look like a forum to talk about web software. |

I know the subject has been brought up before, but can we have one, pretty please? I suggested this a while ago, but was pointed to the Comms forum.

Seriously, I don't see what's wrong with using the Comms forum for it. It's not as if it's overused. |

But web stuff is part of comms. You might as well suggest that we have the "Programming and BASIC" forum. Cue jokes about BASIC not being real programming...
If it has to be renamed, I suggest "Pots and string".
Failing that, make more mention of the web technologies bit in the forum description, rather than its title. |
