Can someone delete the thread entitled Brothel from the playpen, because it is coming up first if people search for my name on Google, which isn't really very good.

Thanks :)

See the reasons we haven't deleted it in the thread itself in the playpen.

If you don't want what you post to appear in the search engines, don't post it. Simple.

If whoever's writing you a reference somehow stumbled upon the thread, I'm sure the uncalled for insults from you that are there now would be a lot more damaging to you than whatever was there before.

The thing is, that's not the issue. The issue is that *you* created the thread. Whether someone else actually *used* your name or not is irrelevant - you have to accept that if you start a thread like that, you have to suffer the concequences.

Like I said; hopefully this will learn you some manners.

I think if a page appears in Google which you aren't happy with, the correct course of action is to ask Google not to index it. You'd have to be the webmaster or have the law behind you of course.

I think the method you used was easier. :)

And yet you don't seem to mind your name appearing beside highly explicit threads regularly!

That's not relevant at all.

If you read the post in the Playpen, I say that I can't see any problem with people's names being beside explicit threads anyway; if I recall, I say that "anyone who cares about that kind of thing isn't worth impressing".

Just exactly what *is* your point?

EDIT: If you're referring to the manners comment, I'm referring to the way Andrew dealt with the moderators, trying to order them about; not about the thread he started...

I didn't see the other post but I thought with you saying manners you'd suddenly turned against risque threads!
