Aaaarrrrggghhh, right that's it! X(

I'm writing an image filing system to read Tar archives without having to extract files from the damn things....

If it already exists then stop me, please!

SparkFS?

Doesn't seem to like most of the TAR archives I've thrown at it. SparkPlug copes a lot better but, o.c., it's not a proper filing system so lacks some transparentness & stuff like finding text in files.

Now, what'd be really nice would be an image filing system that handled tgz without having to decompress it to another file! :E

Anyway, I've cooled down a bit since the latest SparkPlug coped with the XFree86 source archives.... so it'll do for now.
