Try fiddling with the colour controls - most digital monitors seem to have two or more preset gamma correction things, which can fiddle the colours a bit. |

Hmm, I'm confuzzled.. If I browse TIB on my Pc at work, with CRT monitor, the colours are purple.. If I use my wifes' notebook, the site is clear blue.. I guess one of them is not calibrated correctly.. What's the exact colour like? |

A kind of baby blue It's a kind of sky blue - there's a small amount of red in there for warmth, but it's certainly not purple. The colours used are: 9999FF CCCCFF (e.g. for plain old light blue you'd probably want to drop the red down to 66CCFF or 99CCFF). |

hmmm.. I've 'investigated' a bit more.. I've checked on my friends' monitor as well.. the colour is still purple-ish, just like on my monitor at home and at work.. and what do you know.. all have triniton tubes from Sony.. Can someone with another triniton tube check if he/she (?any women around in this forum actually??) sees the same.. not blue (baby blueish), but more to the purple side...weird.. |
