Unregistered user What about a Saint Georges day one?

Red and white colour scheme perhaps.

23rd of April for those that don't know.

Unregistered user And Christmass.

And Halloween.

And every other major holiday.

And birthdays (e.g. TIB & staff members).

And a super-dooper flashing colour scheme for when Omega gets released! (heh, no extra work needed to code that in)

Unregistered user Very nice but the flag should be the George Cross not the Union flag.

Unregistered user Don't worry, at midday it'll get rid of itself smile (well, maybe a couple of minutes past)

I planted that particular joke a couple of months back and had to set it to trigger automatically so I didn't forget. That and I slept through the 12 hours allowable for jokes last year :/

Unregistered user My own site* does many, many different days, including a union flag scheme for St. George's Day. It's a lot tougher to do on TIB though, because I specifically wrote my site to be skinnable - the April Fool required a large number of files to be changed, and a cron task to copy across a whole new version of the index page unhappy That's not to say it's impossible to find an easier way though I suppose. I'll have a look later.

* http://houseofmabel.com/ in case you want to see it tomorrow.

The current list is:
Saints George, Andrew, David, Patrick and Valentine.
24th, 25th and 26th December.
New Year's Day.
Bonfire night.
American Independance Day.
April Fool's Day.
Any Friday 13th.
My birthday.
Rememberance Day (closest Sunday plus straight 11/11/xx 11:00am version)

And of course four different schemes on ordinary days depending on the time of day.

Very nice but the flag should be the George Cross not the Union flag.
I couldn't be a**ed to do all the different versions for different parts of the country, so union flag is good enough for me. It takes the best part of a day to do one of those special versions unhappy
