Unregistered user When reading a long thread (eg. Web Browsers, Cheddar Gorge), you can now only jump to the first or last few pages, and never any of the ones inbetween, because they're replaced with '...'s. It's fine for the list of threads, but when reading the thread itself it's awkward.

What a very, very badly written sentence. But do you get what I mean?

Unregistered user Perhaps it should look like google's page mechanism - you can see the page you're on and a few pages either side of that one.

I'll have a think about an alternative - maybe a dropdown menu would work better.
Ooh, cool! Yes, do that!

This is a very serious and important point!

I was going to collate the whole of 'cheddar gorge' into one sentence when it reaches 1000 posts... and I can only view 6 pages of it at the moment! Help! grin

Unregistered user Better than a huge list of page numbers that stretches right across the browser window though? smile

Yes, you can just tinker with the URL cool

Still, something like "Previous Page | Next Page" would come in quite handy
