Call it NeoII or Neo2The current one is actually called Nave AKA Neo 2. Neo 3 was going to be called Knox but I just called my home fileserver that. Neo 1 is at my parent's house so my Dad can play games, and as I don't have a PC at home I guess I could do the same <shrugs> |

Good, because your world domination won't work with a dodgy server |

AcornArcade appears to be down It's fine from here
It would be, after I'd rushed back from Nottingham to fix it. Where to? The power cut two weeks ago has screwed something up, so that the weekly crons that are supposed to tidy the server up end up running twice and slowing the machine to a crawl. I'll have a go at fixing the problem, and of course the new server is aleady on order. Oops! Cheers for adding the (: andypoole : without the spaces) rich |

The hamsters powering Neo must have all fallen asleep again [Edit] Ah well, at least it means I don't have a backlog of posts to catch up on

I think Chichester is home to Argo Towers Kinda - ArgoNet is now owned by Freedom2 Ltd. in the same offices as when it was owned by Argo Group, who themselves are now near Guildford. The argo part of the name for the ISP was fought for so that the subscribers' email and web addresses didn't have to change. |

Nah, how about 'World'... that would nicely compliment the world domination scheme |

If it's a beefy server then you could call it Tank. Or if it's laden with anti-Microsoft viruses then Morpheus. Or some other character from The Matrix, as long as you don't do anything un-cool |

Why is there such a big delay between gateway.argonet.co.uk and everywhere else? Surely they have fixed things by now? :/ |
