I would expect this to be the date the last comment was added to a page.

Instead it seems to be "24 May 2005 18:14.", which seems a little short on useful information.

The dates are for the change in the underlying web page - which if it's automatically generated doesn't really help much. It was more for hard coded stuff when this was supposed to be a site full of FAQs and How Tos :)

Probably the best thing would to be to simply remove them.
