I recently bought an old Magnetic Scrolls game and would like to get one or two of their others in the future but unfortunately I couldn't get this one (Wonderland) to work on RISC OS 4 or under A310em. Has anybody tried any of their games under these systems? |

Although I don't actually have this game, theres a strong chance it should work under the RISC OS 2 emulator. Thats how I got Phaethon working. |

Doesn't seem to work unfortunately under RISC OS 4 but I'll look into it and A310em as well. The game came out at the time of RISC OS 2 so should work on it. |

Is there a demo I could have a look at? Do you have the Unprotect module by Theo v/d Boogaert? (he hasn't done a patch) |

Thanks but that doesn't seem to work either with it. |

The RO2 for all application doesn't work, it just says 'disk not found' and internal error. There's no help file with it so I'm assuming I'm missing doing something critical. |

No help file? Strange, mine came with one so I should be able to help.. The original author remains annonymous, however IIRC Dave McEwen wrote a little helper thing for use with it. As with the Arthur OS emulator, in order to run you must first 'Exit' RISC OS by clicking menu on the Acorn/RISC OS 4 logo and going to Exit. This should leave you with a command prompt, and hopefully you can remember the path you downloaded the Emulator to. Run that and you should be fine. If for whatever reason you should always wish to use RISC OS 2, or as an alternative method, you could always put the emulator in your !Boot sequence, and run without booting at a later date to remove it. The internal error sounds a bit worrying though... Dave should know a lot more than I do. |

Of course if your comp. is up to it, you could always emulate the Amiga version... |

There's no Exit option, you have to shutdown then press Ctrl-shift-f12. |

Of course if your comp. is up to it, you could always emulate the Amiga version... I'd need an Iyonix and I'm not sure if even that would run UAE well. |
