This is just a "heads up" for those of you interested in this sort of thing.

Both these games have double page reviews in this retrogaming edition of the magazine (not the standard issue), written from the peculiar standpoint of someone who might have been reviewing them at the times of their releases.

I'm not sure that it makes much sense, and you might want to take a look at them before parting with £5 of your hard earned spending money. I suppose scanning opportunities may occur in the future...

Looks like an separate entity to me, otherwise I'd have thought it would have been free with the main magazine.

Elite was a little more than £5, even when first released!

I've an original review from Beebug knocking about on the Acorn Elite pages. after a session in the pub I'm too laz\y to type in the URL, though.

Well, it depends on your perspective, of course, but some people might consider £5 a bit steep for two reviews. Still, there are some other interesting articles in the magazine.

For some reason I thought it meant £5 for the games. I'm wondering if I was drunk when I wrote that post.

Do you freely admit that you were very drunk?

Really? My local WH Smith's had a load of them.

Sorry, that doesn't really help very much, does it? unhappy

No, only probably somewhat drunk. I should check the date. Anything posted late on Friday nights is probably an inebriated posting, anything posted any other time is probably sober.
