Hi,

There was a thread recently on c.s.a.games about a game called battlefield, which is apparently a bit like Gauntlet. Does anyone know any more about it? Are there any reviews? Is it PD/Freeware, and if so, where can it be downloaded from?

Cheers,

Max

Yes I remember it, it was written for Acorn User afaik and was very enjoyable and colourful.
It might have been on one of the AU CDs.

Andrew, can you remember which AU CD it might have been on? Are there any screenshots around?

It probably would have been the AU200CD.

Humm, just checked there and can't see it. Although there is a lot of interesting stuff. It's strange to see snapshots of all those websites like Acorn Arcade and Artex! Oh well, I'll keep looking. Thanks for the information anyway Andrew.

I'd have to look through my back issues but they're not with me at the moment. I'm sure it was in the period 96-98 so I'd have thought it would be in the archived cover disc section of the CD.

Max -I've done some checking and it's not on the AU200 CD, it's on the AUCD3 May 1997 along with so many other ex-commercial games and good PD games.
