Getting a bit sick (physically) at the EMD situation. Basically if we don't get any more graphics done then it's a dead project as most of the code is complete. We have suffered from unreliable graphics artists in the past, you telling me there aren't any reliable, good RO artists out there?

If, in the slim chance, there is then can you email me asap with a sample of your work to:

Hi Nathan,

Don't look for them in the RISC OS scene; try to visit some other alternative system; ask in Linux forums etc. Also, posting flyers in some university can be a big help (this is how we found two graphicians for ID).

Cheers,
Jan

The reason I haven't tried this is that the games so far are intended solely for Acorns and are people going to want to do anything for a platform they don't have or might not even ever see?

It depends: Many of the people that might be interesting could just have fun with an interesting project. An art/design student will possibly just want to have had the experience of working together with other people building a multimedia product, or he/she wants a reference for a design portfolio. Some other people might already have some graphics or 3d models that have never been showed to the public; they might just be glad that *someone* sees them. If they are games players, they will probably be more interested to play the game on their own computer. But if they aren't, they can still be great graphicians, and then they won't be that eager to see their gfx on their own machine. (I think.)

Cheers,
Jan

To follow up on this thread, does anybody know of any art / design students who might be or friends at university who could help VOTI?
