This seemed like a good thread idea. Basically, you post ideas of any games planned for RISC OS which were cancelled, or games from series where some were released for RISC OS. Or, at a loss from the other 2, games for other platforms which could realisticly be ported to RISC OS.Ill get the thread spinning. I would very much like to see Xenon I on RISC OS. Its a great game which has been overlooked due to the sucess of Xenon II. Also in theory, easier to port Also it would be good to see James Pond 3:Operation Starfish on RISC OS, to finish off the trilogy. I think I was one of the few who liked this game but i still play it! Frontier:Elite 2 would also be nice, as it has been started but not completed. Not much info on this game. Finally, Duke Nukem 3D on RISC OS. (See my thread about Hexen 2) Not volunteering,(!) But for an experienced programmer this shouldnt be too hard, there are many ports of it out there by various authors. Thats all, hope others contribute as much as I have eddyosaysyo2

Where do we start? Xenon I is ancient isn't it?Last Ninja 3 Stryker's Run 3 Elite 2 and 3 should be achievable (Elite 2 is still apparently too slow on DOSbox even on Iyonix) Unreleased RISC OS titles: Karma, Proposal An unspecified revolutionary (in RISC OS terms) title from Visions of the Impossible (later Flaymz, now defunct). |

Last Ninja 3 Agreed
Stryker's Run 3 Also AgreedAnother Id like to see would be Zool 2 however, source would be hard to find, Zool 1/2 are now both abandonware and Gremlin doesnt exist.... |

So how did Retrogamer get the rights to the Gremlin back-catalogue in Issue 3 then? |

Recently got my new 'Amiga forever' commercial emulator and BOY was it worth it! So ive found many good game ideas, Chuck Rock 2 : Son of chuck, Great game, if not slightly unrelated to the original CR, but a good game none-the-less. Lemmings 3, another case of 'Finish the trilogy' Not many people know this exists, one of the Amigas best kept secrets. Also Lemmings Xmas is good fun |
