What is the official comercial status of the RISC OS version of Zool? Obviously the Amiga verrsion is up for grabs at most sites, but the PC version is declared as Abandonware. I seem to remember something about the rights to Gremlin graphics and Retrogamer? |

Following a quick google, Gremline Graphics started off as the Just Micro shop in Sheffield. Back on topic, this is the most relevant result, nothing about RISC OS however. Maybe they had a name change? |

Gremlin was bought out by Infogrames (tend to be known as Atari these days) and became Infogrames Sheffield. That studio did close down... but I think they still own the IP. However Infogrames aren't doing hugely well financially so they might have offloaded some of their IP... |

That explains the Retrogamer CD. I did see the Infogrames logo on a recent Atari game somewhere (probably the Infogrames website). |

Gremlin were aprently Gremlin International for a bit, but all their sites are long down. I'll have a look at webarchive. Oh, I had a look at the RetroGamer site, and Issue 3 had a section on Gremlin Classics aparently, you wouldn't have that one kicking about would you Andrew? |

Yes it was the Acorn special. On the CD it had: Star (something) : an Elite rip-off (literally) Krakout: an Arkanoid clone A football management gameThey could have put a couple of RISC OS titles on (I think Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 was Gremlin) but didn't sadly. |
