How many programmers are active in the games sector ? I can see Jason Tribbeck is usually busy working on something as is Jeffrey Lee and that Blasts of the Xtreme also have an active presense. It's great to see APDL packaging up the 4D classics but I'm wondering if we're ever going to see another commercial release. |

I'm usually tinkering with something - or more often these days just thinking about it. I suspect there are a lot more like me, who never get round to finishing anything. I wouldn't expect any epics, at least not in the current climate. But there may be the occasional low-budget release. I hope. |

We (Blasts of the Xtreme) have been planing many commercial, freeware and careware releases but some will never be completed due to a broken hard disc and a faulty back up disc. There will be up to the minute news on any new Commercial or PD Releases over on acorngamez.blog.com. |

Brain Games are also quite active. ProAction / Alligata have been working on Desktop Repton PLUS and the Topologika educational games series. 7Th Software did release Moan back at the end of 2004. R-Comp might convert some more games to be 32-Bit. |

Thank you both for the responses and the additional information. I just want to add that I now also look to acorngamez.blog.com/ on a regular basis for any tidbits I might have missed elsewhere - like the news on the GEK CD I bought from DB on ebay ^_^ I just noticed there aren't many comments on your site so I wanted to mention you've got at least one regular visitor! |

Sion - that's a great site you've got going there with AcornGamez. I can tell you it's the best in at least 5 years. Keep up the good work! |

SoftRock are also around but haven't been very active, there might be another game coming from them soon, that was said on their site back in January 2005. |
