Heres something I could never complete,

As far as I know, I have been in every room, and have any item, unless there is anywhere extra you can get with the Hot air balloon?

Anyway, having found the proffessor, I start giving him my items, and then he asks for this item

I already know that the item is in this room, but whenever I go in, my character drops dead.

Any ideas?

What machine are you playing on? I tried the patched version on the AU Games CD but it kept crashing on a SA/RPC.

I don't thing it was a bug; my character sort of shakes his head and collapses. It then returns to the previous scene.

I was thinking that it may have something to do with an item, ie. you might need to have some helmet or something to get past.

Wow, this takes me back.. I remember the room you were talking about because i always used to forget to get a certain item that was needed! I say 'forget' because i'm sure you had to get the timing right at one point, or do something in a certain order to get into that room.. lets see.. think i've got the solution knocking around somewhere.. brb..

Well, couldn't find it.. BUT.. after a quick search on the web, i'm pretty sure that this is what you're looking for.. (specifically, IIRC, the anti-rad pills are needed for the room that you automatically die in)

Q: How do you find the anti-radiation pills and atomic pile?

A: First, get the bellows by jumping up on the trampoline (avoiding the monster). Now go back to the hot-air balloon and, once in it, use the bellows to get to the top of the cliff, where the anti- rad pills are lurking. To get the pile you must get the energy crystal from the room farthest right from the cricket stumps, then go left, down, left. Jump across the bridge, then keep going left until you see a transporter. Use that to get to the screen with the atomic pile in, but remember to select the anti-rad pills beforehand or you'll pop your clogs.

Oooh.. tempted to go back and and do this one again now.. even if it was a terrible game smile

Just completed the game; thanks Vexed. I like the animation at the end tongue

At the Guildford show I managed to get an original copy of Terramex for about £1 tongue Turned out the disks inside were completely blank (which doesn't matter, as the game is now freeware), but it came with the original box and a pretty poster!
