As for comparative performance I have no idea... best to try it out with what you want to run and see.

BTW. You should check the AEP (http://acorn.cybervillage.co.uk/emulation/)or Acorn Gaming if you are looking for an emulator. Eventhough the former hasn't been updated in a while it still covers most of what is available.
