I see that Beebit has been updated.
Mode 8 now works nicely. This should open up some possibilities for Beebit as a development platform for advanced 8-bit programs I hope.

It still only seems to allow partial display of the L9/Mandarin graphics unfortunately. At least the games work which of course is great but I think that emulating this must be extremely difficult as it not only makes use of split-screen modes but also accesses shadow RAM and sideways RAM. There's also probably the issue of emulating video chip timing as well as I understand it!
