Hi,

Long ago I once had an A5000. I now have a PC - but jabe just downloaded Red Squrrel to remember the good times...

... I have some games in ADF format which I have opened on RedSqurrel.

The games come on 2 floppies - I would like to copy them onto the RedSqurrel hard disk.

When I copy both disk into the same folder and run the game - it partially loads and then asked to insert floppy.

Its been a long time since I used RiscOS - but is there a way of making a two disk game run entirly from hard disk?

Thanks for any help.

Copy protection perchance? If its a 4th dimension game you can remove such evil using this useful util.

If not, what does the Help/Readme file suggest?

Hi,

Thanks for that.

Not all of the games are 4D though...

...for games which are not protected but come on two disks is it just a case of copying them into the same directory to make them run entirly from Hard disk??

Kevin.

Should be, it was like that with such games as Chuck Rock and Lemmings, IIRC.

Maybe if you posted the names of some of these games it would be more useful?

Well I was thinking about Cataclysm...

... But I guess thats a 4thDimension game so the program you suggested will work...

The program requires you to have the 1st Disk in the drive - the problem is that drive 0 on Red Squrrel is my PC's actual drive - drive 1 is the one which I can mount the adf image on. I still can't get the game to work...

Any advice?
