Monday night is Rougol September talk on RISC OS distributions

The September Rougol meeting is on monday night and you can attend in person at the pub or via Zoom.
 
This months speaker is Bernard Boase with the talk which would have happened in March 2020, but was delayed due to events....
 
Bernard will be be looking at the different distributions you can get (ROOL's ePic, RISC OS Direct and RPCEmu's retro releases), what is included, how they compare and what changes we would like to suggest.

Rougol August meeting is an award-winning event

This month, the Rougol talk was another hybrid event, with 5 people in person and 30+ on Zoom. This month, we were treated to the RISC OS Awards, with Vince giving us the results in an Academy Awards style, sporting a bow tie, with his usual humour.

Rougol July talk

The Rougol July meeting was a more gentle event with 2 people in the pub and 20 remote, chatting about RISC OS and life in general and enjoying the sunshine.
 
Going forward, it shows that the meeting works as a hybrid event and hopefully that will be the format going forwards....

Rougol June Talk - RISC OS in those StrongARM days with Mike Stephens

This month's online talk was by ex-Acorn and Pace RISC OS programmer Mike Stephens who worked at Acorn from 1994 for about 4 years and 2 years at Pace. He was heavily involved with StrongARM and Phoebe kernel.

This month's online Rougol talk featured Sophie Wilson. It was certainly a popular talk (Bryan had to up his Zoom license) with over 130 attendees (lucky we were not all trying to squeeze into the pub room).
